‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5 spoilers: Is Grace Park’s Kono in danger?

Kono -We’re getting near the end of the season for “Hawaii Five-0” and a variety of other shows, and that tends to mean one thing above all else: It is a chance for networks to terrify the heck out of the majority of their viewers. We are going to see that with this particular show on the upcoming May 1 episode entitled “Mo’o ‘olelo Pu” (“Sharing Traditions”), which is forcing us to ask one question above all else: Could we really lose Kono from the show? Are we getting near the end of Grace Park’s time in the cast?

Admittedly, we know that there have been rumors about cast members leaving for a little while, but we’re not too willing to buy into those yet. They happen every year for about 20 different shows, and maybe only about 5% of the time does something come out of them. With this show, let’s focus here first and foremost on whether or not it gets renewed.

Also, let’s share via the synopsis below the reason why Kono is in so much danger to begin with:

“When Kono goes on a solo outrigger trip around the Hawaiian islands in honor of her mother, she hits a patch of wild weather and must fight to stay alive. As Five-0 searches for Kono, they investigate a man busted for cooking meth who claims he received a threat on his son’s life if he didn’t continue making the drug.”

If nothing else, it does at least seem like this is going to be an emotional and interesting departure from the typical episode. We’re interested to see what happens.
