‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: Kim Richards arrested at hotel over various charges

Just over 24 hours after the third portion of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion show aired on TV, we were met with some very bad news when it comes to one of its stars in Kim Richards. According to a report from TMZ, Kim has been arrested in Beverly Hills after allegedly causing a stir at a hotel and refusing to come out of a restroom. Reports suggest that she smelled of alcohol at the time, and the same reports claim she has been charged with trespass, resisting arrest, battery on a police officer and drunk in public. Basically, this is sad news all around.

Anyone who is a regular viewer of the Bravo series is probably very familiar already with the struggle that Kim has underwent over the years with addiction, and this was ultimately a concern during this season after some of her actions. There were many arguments over it, and during the reunion she sparred heavily with sister Kyle over an incident that happened last Halloween. While substances seem to have played no role in that, regurgitating it on TV had to be rather painful.

Ultimately, it feels to us that the best thing that both of the Richards sisters could do for themselves is get off of the show and out of the limelight. While they may get fame and money out of this, airing out all of their dirty laundry every week seems to also cause them so much pain. Is all of this really worth it?

The only way to describe this story ultimately is sad. There’s nothing funny or entertaining about watching someone struggle with addictions, or the consequences that come with failures.
