‘Empire’ season 2 spoilers: What guest star is set to return?

Everyone wants to be on “Empire” these days. Thanks in part to the Fox series drawing huge ratings and some critical acclaim for the first season, it may be the biggest ticket that you can get on network TV now. Of course, it’s not going to be an easy show for many to get on for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, we’re not looking at a 22-episode order for season 2. We know that some behind the scenes don’t want to extend the order at all. Also, there is already an established roster of guest stars who are probably going to get a chance to appear again just as much as any potential new guest star will.

One person who definitely seems to be coming back is Raven-Symone. The former “That’s So Raven” star, who experienced a new rush of success thanks to her appearance, will apparently be back for some sort of part in the second season. This is according to actor Jussie Smollett, who made the news known in a chat with E! News.

Hopefully, this will lead to finding out some more news about other guest stars in the reasonably near future, but this could take a little bit of time. The scripts haven’t even been written completely yet for the new season, and the power will mostly be in the hands of the producers to figure all of this out.

Early indications suggest that “Empire” will likely return this fall. we wish it was coming instead in the spring, but we understand Fox wanting to strike while the iron is hot.
