‘Mad Men’ season 7, episode 10 preview: Don Draper’s distress, Roger’s ‘apology’
There are only four episodes of “Mad Men” to until the big series finale, but before we come to that, we come bearing the latest uber-cryptic promo from AMC highlights some of what is to come during the new episode Sunday night. As per usual, there’s not really much here that is going to come as a big shocker.
To us, the most interesting scene revolves around a disheveled and disrobed Don Draper, who is asked a question as to his condition by a man offscreen. It’s such an unusual situation for the character to be in that it immediately catches our attention. We really cannot say the same thing about hearing Roger say “I’m sorry,” mostly because the context of this said apology is not entirely clear. Maybe this is an incredibly sincere one, or maybe this is just him continuing to play into the sly-dog persona he has created so well for himself. He is great at feigning sincerity, and somehow having other people actually believe him. We’re not entirely sure how he continues to do it, but the man has a habit of working it out.
Also, you have Peggy in this particular video saying that there is something that she clearly cannot do anymore. What is it? We want to say that it involves a working relationship with Ted because we love the two characters together, but we really do not see much more of him in this promo beyond just a quick passing glance.
Ultimately, there are many intriguing scenes in this promo, but for the time being, scenes is all they are. We will still have to wait to see what they ultimately turn into.
For now, be sure to head over here if you missed our review of this past episode of “Mad Men.” Also, you can sign up if you are especially curious in getting some other TV updates on everything we cover, courtesy of our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: AMC.)

Don is distressed because the boring waitress rejected him not because of his divorce with Megan. Such a mentally sick man and an idiot…..
