‘Unforgettable’ season 4 spoilers: Jane Curtin, Tawny Cypress, Dallas Roberts leaving after A&E move
While A&E may have decided to become the new home of “Unforgettable,” it turns out that they are inheriting something that could be, for the second time, a completely revamped show. According to TVLine, the likes of Jane Curtin, Tawny Cypress and Dallas Roberts are all going to be out as series regulars when the former CBS show completes the move. Roberts will still make some guest-starring appearances, and that is largely it.
So why the cast exodus? There could be many reasons for it, with one of them being that cast deals expired in between the end of the show on one network and when it would begin elsewhere. With this in mind, there are many holes on the Poppy Montgomery series that need to be filled.
What we continue to wonder here most of all is why. Why move this show in the first place? If it keeps the entirety of its demo rating on A&E that it had on CBS, then it will be a hit. However, that is only if that happens. We got the impression with the “Longmire” cancellation that the cable network was not looking to attract older viewers, and yet they’ve brought in a show here that certainly skews older than almost anything else they have in terms of original programming.
Hopefully, we’ll get some other information about that as time goes by, but we suppose that for now, the good news for “Unforgettable” is that the majority of the remaining cast and crew will continue to have work.
