‘The Following’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Does Ryan Hardy have his suspect?

Through the majority of “The Following” season 3 so far, the search has been a huge part of the story when it comes to Ryan Hardy and Joe Carroll. Kevin Bacon’s character has been the hunter, the hunted, and at times a little bit of both.

Now that Joe is behind bars, Ryan has been forced to adapt himself in many ways, and it has not at times been easy. However, he is now in “catching bad guys left and right” mode, and in the sneak peek video below, you can see him making some moves in the right direction when it comes to figuring out how to stop the latest killer. One part of the methodology is profiling the right person. The truth here is that it can be extremely difficult at times to replicate normal human behavior. Establishing a routine and seemingly keeping to it day after day is actually abnormal, and it is for this reason that you have to wonder what is really going on here.

While Ryan may the information now, he still has to figure out the way to make the arrest happen. That is going to be no easy task for any of them to pull off.

Away from this particular drama, be prepared in this episode to also deal with some other significant story threads, including learning a thing or two more about whether or not Joe Carroll could be surprisingly spared from execution. We are just as intrigued to see what happens here as anyone.
