‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6: Nina Dobrev’s farewell filming tour continues

While Nina Dobrev may have already had a farewell celebration with her fellow cast members of “The Vampire Diaries,” that does not necessarily mean that she is done filming the show just yet. That just may have been the only time that the party could be scheduled with everyone in attendance.

Now, Dobrev is getting set to shoot some more of her final scenes of the series, including the one below with Matt Davis. This two in particular have had a most unusual arc on the show over the years. This all really began when Davis originally left the show, where he plays Alaric, in order to try some new things including the short-lived “Cult.” Eventually, he made his way back as the show figured out how to revive Alaric in a way that was fun and interesting. Now, he has to say farewell to his co-star all over again.

This imagine below on Nina’s Twitter is one of the first times that she has addressed her exit from the show since first announcing it, and we imagine that this is probably a weird situation for her. While she is interested and most-likely event excited to move on to other things, there are still so many other fans who are having a hard time letting go. We’re still trying to figure out how the show will move forward with her gone from it. It’s going to be interesting seeing that start to unravel.
