‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Could Coulson and Gonzales actually work together?

Agents of SHIELD -

For much of the past two episodes of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” what we have seen for the most part is dysfunction and plenty of it when it comes to Coulson and Gonzales. Gonzales wants to take over the organization for himself, largely because he feels like Clark Gregg’s character has done a pretty inadequate job at running things. He is also not quite a fan of some of the secrets that the man has been keeping.

So what could actually make these two foes-at-present actually turn the page and become friends? It could be just as simple of a major foe as Hydra. We’ve seen them face off with SHIELD many times over, and we are going to be seeing that yet again soon in the upcoming 19th episode of the season entitled “The Dirty Half Dozen.” Based on the synopsis below via Marvel, we could have a really fun sort of ensemble mission coming:

“Gonzales and Coulson must find a way to put their differences aside and work together against Hydra, even if it means teaming up with someone they don’t trust.”

To us, a whole lot of the fun in this episode would come from potentially seeing almost all of the characters like Mack, Bobbi, Simmons, and Fitz join forces yet again for a common cause. This is not exactly something that we have gotten to see them do in a while, and they all still have a few skills that they bring to the table.
