‘The Fosters’ season 3 spoilers: Filming officially begins
We’re doing our best at the moment to stay up-to-date on all things “The Fosters,” even though the sad news at this very moment is that you are going to be waiting for a little while still to see what happens next on the series. Specifically here, we’re thinking most likely June.
Thankfully, at least the creative team behind the scenes is doing a great job as always keeping us aware of everything that is going on. For example, take a look at the latest post from executive producer Bradley Bredeweg’s Twitter account, which serves as fantastic proof for one thing above all else: Filming for the new season is officially underway! We knew that Maia Mitchell, Teri Polo, and the rest of the cast had already returned to work, but it takes a few days to get things going due to table reads and other matters.
One of the challenges we feel like the show is going to have this season is trying to figure out where to pick things up. Do you deal with the immediate aftermath of the car accident, or jump forward a couple of months so that what happens is not quite as emotionally raw? We feel like one contributing factor here could be trying to figure out just how the show plans to deal with the exit of Jake T. Austin. If Jesus is killed off, they can really start the action whenever without any obvious omissions. However, if they choose to merely write out the character, they will have to explain why he is gone.
