‘Arrow’ season 3 finale spoilers: The title looks back at the past

Arrow -Want to know what the title of the “Arrow” finale is? Well, there’s no longer a point in waiting! In a post on Twitter, executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed that the title for this episode is going to be “My Name is Oliver Queen.” Clearly, this is a title that you have heard said many times already. It’s in the opening package in every single episode!

As for what in the world the title means within the context of the finale, we believe that it ties back into questions of Oliver’s identity that he has faced almost all season long. What does it really mean to be a hero? That is not an easy question to answer, and the same goes for if you can actually have a real life while having such a massive target on your head.

The one thing we take away from this above all else is that maybe Oliver will not stay Ra’s al Ghul for very long if he does accept the title. It seems as though the show is going in that direction, mostly because Ra’s may eventually give him no other choice than to fulfill what he believes to be his destiny.

What we do know is that in addition to closing off season 3, this episode may help to further establish the story for season 4. We know that we are going to have a chance to see more of HIVE in this episode, the organization that hired Floyd Lawton in the first place.

What do you think about this title: Is it a delightful slice of nostalgia, or something that is just driving you up the wall?
