‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6: Who has come over to Kevin Williamson’s ‘Stalker’?

More news -While Kevin Williamson may no longer be on the forefront of conversation when it comes to “The Vampire Diaries” like he was the first couple of seasons, what we are seeing from him is a deep affection for some of the CW show’s stars. After all, he is being very liberal in bringing them over to “Stalker” on CBS. We recently say Phoebe Tonkin, now of “The Originals,” coming over for a guest stint. Not, Kat Graham has confirmed that she also has one coming up.

Graham confirmed the news in a post on her Twitter account, which is fairly exciting since this is the first time we have really talked about “Stalker” in a while. It has been on a lengthy hiatus while CBS airs “CSI: Cyber” in its former timeslot. It will return to the network in late April, where it will wrap up the remainder of the first season following the comedy block on Monday night. It’s taking the place of “Scorpion,” which is going to be off the air come April 20.

There’s no word yet on who Graham will play, but our hope here is that it will be someone completely different from Bonnie Bennett. That way, it gives her a chance to feel creatively fulfilled taking on a very different character.

Obviously, one of the nice things about this gig for Graham is that it may have served as a bit of a distraction to all of the buzz the past two days about Nina Dobrev’s decision to leave the show. Even if you look at the replies to this tweet, you see some demanding Graham help them to make sure that Elena and Damon stay together. That’s just something she unfortunately has to deal with for a while, even if she has no control in such matters.

For now, let’s just say congratulations to Graham on the new gig! You can also sign up now to get some further TV updates on everything we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: The CW.)
