‘The Following’ season 3, episode 8 preview: What lies ahead for Kevin Bacon, James Purefoy in ‘Flesh & Blood’
Will Joe Carroll survive this season of “The Following”? This is a question that we anticipate many people asking when it comes to the situation that he finds himself in at the present moment. He is sitting on death row, or or less waiting to see if the execution will happened as planned. This is a different sort of torment than what the show is used to presenting. Instead of giving us anything shocking all at once, it’s a slow waiting game to see happens there, while Ryan Hardy handles most of the craziness and the pain from the outside.
Next week, the story takes us in another direction in “Flesh & Blood” that makes Ryan Hardy question whether or not the FBI is bringing in the right killer … probably furthering along the notion that this may be the dumbest FBI in human history.
For some more information, take a look at the attached synopsis:
“The FBI closes in on a suspect they believe responsible for the latest murders, but Ryan isn’t sure they have the right person, which sends him digging deeper into more dangerous territory. Meanwhile, Joe is evaluated as his execution date nears and a new threat attempts to cover his tracks.”
The promo below definitely makes it clear that the biggest threat at the moment for Ryan is Theo, who continues to show more and more over time just what a diverse skill set he really has. Is he Joe Carroll? Not yet, but he is a dangerous character capable of quite a bit.
