‘Finding Carter’ season 2, episode 2 preview: Why is Carter being kept from Lori?
Obviously, hearing the truth about Lori being an egg donor does change the landscape of the show to a certain extent already, and to some, it may paint Lori in a more sympathetic light … even if she is ultimately a kidnapper still two times over. What Elizabeth is doing, however, is not exactly painting herself in a good light. Instead, it is increasing the overall risk of Carter pushing her away, and feeling like she is being kept from some sort of long-buried truth. Expect this to be a theme for much of the season; if Carter is already talking about this with Max, then you know it is only to get worse from here.
The struggle for Carter in the next couple of weeks is going to be very much about how she manages to go about living a normal life again after all that has happened, and if it is really possible for her to. She is someone who has already had her life turned upside down on a number of occasions, and there are only so many times that someone can really take this on.
Maybe we’ll get some answers next week, but we’re definitely not going to be getting all the answers. After all, remember here that this is just week two of the season!

It’s Gammy who is helping Lori… Gammy is the shadiest of them all from what I have seen on the show.
