NBC’s ‘The Voice’ rankings: Kimberly Nichole, India Carney, Sonic lead Team Christina

While we may think that there are coaches on “The Voice” this season stronger than Christina Aguilera’s overall, she may have the best top three of anyone depending on the results. While we know that there are so many factors that go into voting like personality, screen time, and even the coach that you, Christina has on her team three of the best voices that the show has seen in years. If at least one of them is not in the finale, there is some cruel injustice going on in the world.

Sometimes we use complicated algorithms to determine where we rank certain contestants, but to us, this list is obvious. Three women are clearly at the top, and then it really just comes down to personal taste.

5. Lexi Davila – She’s a solid singer, but just on a team that is stuffed to the brim full of tremendous vocal firepower. Christina is a woman with a huge voice, and she has somehow managed to snatch three extremely capable performers for her team, as well.

4. Rob Taylor – We for the most part think that Rob will probably make it past the live shows this week, mostly because some of the women may cancel each other out. However, we do think that he has some work to do if he wants to genuinely match their talent level.

3. India Carney – This is where things get really difficult, since you can make a case for any of the top three ladies to be #1. We love India’s love register, for example, but feel like the other two may deliver more of a standout performance.

2. Sonic – She continues to surprise us every time we hear her perform. What makes Sonic stand out despite the cool name is that she probably has the best crossover potential of anyone on Team Christina. She can do soulful R&B, but could also tackle pop, soul, jazz, and a variety of other genres.

1. Kimberly Nichole – Christina getting Kimberly was the steal of the season. She has basically it all: An otherworldly voice, personality for days, and even a unique sense of style that will cause her to be remembered more and more with every performance. There’s simple zero reason to doubt her ability to make it very far this season.
