NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 4, episode 17 preview: Can Juliette be stopped?

Grimm -Before we get into previewing next week’s new episode of “Grimm,” let’s start with a little bit of episode title discussion! “Hibernaculum” is the name for the upcoming hour, and that name stems from zoology as a place where animals often seek refuge for hibernation during some of the winter months. It is a place of escape, and we know that there are more than a few times that some of these characters probably wished that they had this on the show.

Before we do too much else here within this article, let’s go ahead and share the lengthy synopsis coming in via NBC:

“Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to investigate a rare Wesen that leaves its victims frozen solid. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) starts to feel that she is losing her humanity as she seeks to get revenge on Adalind (Claire Coffee). Elsewhere, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) continues to suffer from mysterious bleeding and visions while Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) works toward coming to grips with the Wesenrein incident.”

As for the promo below, let’s just say that it makes the stakes and the story of the upcoming season incredible clear: Juliette is becoming more and more Hexenbiest with each passing day, and that puts the rest of the group into a super-precarious position. Are they going to be able to stop her, or will they be able to? Nick has some terrible decisions to make in the coming weeks, especially since it looks more and more like either she or Adalind may need to ultimately go in order for everyone to properly love forward.
