‘Big Brother Canada 3’ rankings: Willow, Ashleigh, Jordan lead going into Instant eviction
This is always a long, painful weekend during the “Big Brother Canada” season. For some reason, Easter Weekend is always one without live feeds. Because the show started later, it’s unfortunate that the feeds also started a bit later.
We don’t typically do full rankings until a little bit later in the season, but this wait does mark for us a great opportunity to actually sit down, analyze, and rank the remaining players in the game. For the most part, this was actually an easier process than we imagined it being going in. Some people are clearly playing a good game, while others are leaving something to be desired. We’re ranking here based mostly on strategy, but social game and past history of similar players is also considered.
14. Naeha – While we know that Kevin was thinking about not nominating her when the live feeds were still on, it’s who the Chop Shop wants gone. If she is nominated and they have the votes, this superfan will be out the door.
13. Godfrey – As entertaining as we find the guy, is there anyone in the house who would really fight to save him? It feels like he is already in the sort position Adel was in last year after Paul and Kyle left, hoping to keep drifting while other threats in the game are targeted.
12. Bobby – We’ve heard his name come up as a Kevin target, but unless he is up against another Chop Shop member, it is hard to really envision many scenarios where he goes. There could be five guaranteed votes in the house to keep him.
11. Graig – The same here may go for Graig. The only difference is that we could see someone like Zach wanting to go ahead and get rid of him, since he is too paranoid and causes problems in the house.
10. Sarah – If she goes up against Naeha, there’s a small chance she goes home … but it’s not likely, given that this is an Instant Eviction and Naeha won’t really have any time to campaign for her life in the house.
9. Johnny – Consider Johnny to be Godfrey Lite. Nobody seems that invested in keeping him, but the perception is that there are so many other bigger fish to fry that nobody’s really that concerned with his placement in the game.
8. Kevin – Granted, he is safe this week, but what happens after that? Zach and Jordan are really only pretending to be with him, he may not be as close to Johnny as he once was, and is Pilar really going to win competitions to save him? It’s doubtful.
7. Bruno – We loved Bruno pre-game, but we’re concerned about anyone whose closest ally in the game is Graig. He should be safe as long as he is there, but he doesn’t seem to be fully in touch with what is going on outside of his alliance.
6. Pilar – There is almost zero chance she ends up winning the game, and we could see her eventually ascending to super-pawn status, where she is nominated every week and not sent home. Regardless of her winning odds, she’s in this for the long haul.
5. Brittnee – We see Brittnee the same way, except she has a slight chance since she’s a better social player, and she does still have two tight allies in Sarah and Naeha who could be dangerous if they can make it through this week still together.
4. Zach – We really dig his game so far. He’s likable, he has allies all over the place, and he’s laying low in the competitions. We don’t think he is really fooling anyone, but it should be a few weeks before he is even thought of as a nominee.
3. Jordan – Yes, everyone in the house knows he is a big threat to win the game, but that doesn’t mean they will vote him off. For example, the perception is that Zach’s a much bigger challenge threat still, and that’s a good shield to have. Zach will save him from the Chop Shop, and Kevin has his back, as well.
2. Ashleigh – It’s funny that the final two here were our preseason final two, but we’re not putting them here out of self-indulgence. We really do think they’re in a great spot! Ashleigh is very close to Zach, and well-liked by almost everyone in the house. Out of everyone in the house, she is one of the last people you’d target.
1. Willow – As for our pick to win, she is doing exactly what she needs to do. Namely, we have not spend much time talking about her at all. This is where you want to be in the first month or so. We know that she has game, but she’s being quiet when it comes to showing it.
