‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: What’s next for Regina, Rumpelstiltskin?
The bad news for fans of “Once Upon a Time” is that unfortunately, you’re going to be waiting a while to see new episodes of the ABC show. Sunday night, the is off the air so that the network can replay “The Ten Commandments.” The series will return on April 12, and that episode could tell us quite a bit about the future of Regina in Storybrooke. Right when she was starting to earn the trust of the villains, Rumpelstiltskin once again proved himself to be a step ahead. Stop us when that sounds familiar. (Clue: You’re probably already stopping us!)
As a means of helping to tide us over earlier today, co-creator Adam Horowitz tweeted out one of his trademark script teases. What we should mention here is that it is not so much the content of this tease that matters, but rather the implication. Basically, Emma now has to try and balance the arrival of the Author, her parents lying to her for so many years, and also Regina’s capture at the same time. That is a lot on one person’s plate! If Emma does turn evil, it may just be out of stress.
Maybe by the end of this episode, we are going to get a greater sense about is really going to happen with Regina long-term. It’s no fun if she is perpetually kidnapped the rest of the season, and the line between good and evil is always skewed. For example, would she willing to do something bad if it meant her getting a chance to escape? We really can’t rule that out!
