NBC’s ‘The Voice’ rankings: Corey Kent White, Meghan Linsey, Sarah Potenza lead Team Blake

Blake Shelton -We’ve already mentioned in our rankings for “The Voice” the past two days that we love the team that Pharrell Williams has. We almost love the team that Blake Shelton has just as much. While it may have the predictable amount of country music on it, there are also some real talents and big personalities who have been seen on the quite a bit. Given that he is a frequent winner of this show as a coach, his crew is more dangerous than ever.

If you are reading one of these articles for the first time, know that we are ranking based on performance quality, edit, screen time, and voting history for similar artists in the past.

5. Hannah Kirby – We’re big Hannah fans, mostly because there’s something about the way that she moves about the stage and sings that is so inherently different from the crowd. It just stinks that she will probably have a hard time breaking through on this team.

4. Brooke Adee – She’s a very good singer who would probably go through on Team Adam or Team Christina. She’s an unfortunate casualty of being on a tough team with some artists Blake seems to already have circled as people who could win.

3. Sarah Potenza – Sarah is one of those contestants we could see being around at this time in a month, or gone by this time next week. She’s got a cool style and a distinctive growl, and she’s also had a lot of air time. This could be all about song choice, since she needs to stay clear of old standards.

2. Meghan Linsey – She already has a following out there, and to add to that, she already has a history with Blake! That is a dangerous one-two punch, and if these two get in the zone, they could be fairly hard to beat.

1. Corey Kent White – It may not be too hard to describe why this guy is dangerous. He’s a young, southern musician with roots in the midwest. Translation: Voters are going to love him in the same way that they loved Craig Wayne Boyd.
