‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and a dangerous box

There is an upcoming episode of “Supernatural” coming entitled “The Werther Project,” and we are sad to tell you that this is not going to be a story about Sam and Dean finding a bag of candy in an abandoned grocery store that changes their lives forever. (With that being said, we would totally pitch this episode as a great idea!)

Instead, what the upcoming April 22 episode looks to do is give you a story about yet another attempt by Sam in order to try to cure Dean of the Mark of Cain. So far, these have not gone particularly well, but who knows? Maybe that will change here. It has to at some point if we are ever going to see Dean be the same guy he was in seasons past.

What is interesting about this episode, though, is that in trying to save his brother, Sam may put himself in a position where Dean has to save him in return. It’s almost like Pandora’s box, which is ironic since a box is at the center of this story. Take a look at the synopsis below for some further details:

“Sam (Jared Padalecki) learns that former Men of Letters, Magnus, once built a magical box and Sam sets out to find it in the hopes it can cure Dean (Jensen Ackles) of the Mark of Cain. However, what he’s not prepared for is the deadly alarm system Magnus set up on the box. When Sam opens the box, he puts both his and Dean’s life in danger.”
