‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: The latest filming progress report
So where are we now in production? Based on the tweet below from executive producer Marlene King, it looks like the show is moving on beyond the events of the premiere (which is likely to air in June), and is progressing forward to a variety of other stories. The second and third episodes of the season are being filmed at the same time, which is typically a move that you see when you have a director working on two episodes at the same time (which is happening here), or you have scheduling that makes this easier. Since there is so much time for the editors to get these episodes together still, specific shooting windows are not necessarily as relevant or pressed up to the wire.
What you should expect is for there to be some more information on this mysterious “Charles” figure right away, including if that is his real name, and if he is already a familiar presence in this universe. The finale managed to rather successfully pull of the trick of answering a question with more questions, and not angering too many in the process.
