‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 20 preview: When will Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, cast return?

While “The Big Bang Theory” is not necessarily notorious for releasing episode details many weeks before them airing, they typically do so with a little more haste than they are for the 20th installment of the season currently scheduled for next week. At this particular moment, there is not much known about it, save for the fact that there is another episode coming and that this should be the one featuring Howard learning that he has a half-brother. The title here is “The Fortification Implementation.”

So in the absence of concrete details like a synopsis, why not share a few things that we would be intrigued in seeing further on the show? For example, Howard and Bernadette moving into his old home following his mother’s death could create a number of Freudian-but-funny scenarios for these two, and it would help to preserve the spirit of Carol Ann Susi in another way. Meanwhile, what about a Penny – Leonard wedding? We don’t necessarily think that this is happening this season, but the two have to talk about it at some point right?

In general terms, simply expect some other solid shenanigans for Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Jim Parsons, and the rest of the cast that continue to push these characters forward in small-but-subtle ways. This is what Howard’s brother should end up providing, as it brings him another form of family.

With that, we hope that this story brings us closer to figuring out what happened to Howard’s father, who has been absent from the show save for that letter storyline.
