‘Big Brother Canada 3’ review: Was Risha Denner, Pilar Nemer first houseguest evicted? Plus, a twist!

Pilar -Tonight’s “Big Brother Canada” episode was rated O for Obvious. The moment that Risha Denner continued to get a bazillion hours of air time and Pilar Nemer had almost none, we felt that she was leaving the game. Also, the majority of fans online were supporting Pilar, even if she was not exactly that present during this past show.

So what do we blame the eviction of Risha on? More than anything else, both her fashion choices and the series itself. In giving Risha so much of an edit on the show, it almost turned some people against her. Not everyone wants to support the chosen one. With that being said, Risha would probably be evicted in the event that the house actually voted. She really was not that great a player! While going off on people is great entertainment, you really do want to just fit in with the end crowd early in the game. That is how you manage to go far.

Given that Canada was voting, the show really didn’t even try to tell you how people in the game were going to vote. They instead gave them the results, and had the houseguests open the envelopes to discover the results. Risha is evicted. We’re honestly super-bummed about this from the standpoint that she actually made a bigger effort to stay, but at the same time, it’s almost a cautionary tale to by really mindful of how you enter the game, and how Canada could perceive you.

Following this elimination, we still had some other surprises in store. There is a twist that could allow Risha to come back! This makes that opening twist a whole lot easier to stomach, since it does not completely eliminate her from contention. This is apparently a KFC twist, which we really hope is going to be called “winner winner chicken dinner” to take a page from Jenn from “Survivor.”

In the end, the new twist makes up slightly for the one we had in the premiere, but we still wish there was more strategy beyond a few alliances (Sarah and Brittnee, Zach and Jordan) and Kevin taking $1,000 for popping a balloon. We spent a ton of time on the players not having their stuff! Grade: B.
