‘Scream Queens’ spoilers: First look at Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis

While the majority of Fox’s upcoming series “Scream Queens” is still be kept a rather close-knit secret, show creator Ryan Murphy seemingly has no problem at all sharing at least some details here and there from the project in New Orleans. Case in point, the first image that we have for you below!

This image shows you Lea Michele alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, who are two of the stars of the show. The most noticeable look here is Lea’s, mostly because she really could not be further from Rachel Berry here with a different hairstyle and also the windbreaker. Is this a sign that we are vastly approaching period-piece status? We definitely would not say that for sure just yet, given that Lea’s character could be just backwards when it comes to fashion, or maybe she just really likes bright colors.

Regardless, this is a refreshing change, and we do want to see her play someone completely different from who we’ve come to know her as on “Glee.”

As for Jamie, we do feel like she has a substantial amount of flexibility here in terms of who she could play. There are a variety of different characters she could be given the college setting and the horror twist. Maybe she is a house mom to a sorority, a parent to one of the students, or a professor / administrative worker.

While there is no premiere date just yet for “Scream Queens,” we personally expect it to be on this fall. Some of the cast also includes Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Emma Roberts, and a recurring gig from Ariana Grande.
