‘Suits’ season 5: We at least know the premiere month…
This is not a time when you are going to get a whole lot in the way of “Suits” insight. While there are scripts that are being written, filming for the show in Toronto has not started just yet. Some of the first real, tangible scoop on castings and the like is probably still a month away (if not longer).
What we can at least tell you now is that we have official verification now from USA that season 5 will, in fact, premiere in June. This really should not come as much of a shock to anyone, mostly due to the sole fact that this is around when almost every single season of the show has premiered save for season 3 (which began later in July). The sweet spot for the show is to run its first ten episodes from mid-June until early September, and then say farewell until January, when the first of the final six episodes premiere.
There are obviously quite a few stories that “Suits” will need to address when the show comes back on the air. First and foremost, they will have to tackle the big engagement for Mike and Rachel. What comes next? Do the two prepare a wedding right away, and force us to wait for a while? Obviously, there is the other story revolving around Louis Litt, who now has Donna working beside him after she decided to shift away from working with Harvey. It’s going to take him so time to get used to that.
Given how much we love this show, the one thing we know is that the next few months are going to be tedious to get through.
