‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 16 spoilers: ‘Best Laid Plans’ reveal Snow, Charming’s woe

Throughout the course of today, we have been waiting to see the official press release for Sunday night’s “Once Upon a Time” episode. How could we not after last night’s tremendous episode? Let’s just say that “Best Laid Plans” looks to be all sorts of exciting for a variety of reasons. After all, you’ve got everything in here from a few major secrets coming out to Henry actually having a pretty big role for the episode. We haven’t seen that often and it’s something that we want to see.

Finally, ABC did post the synopsis for the episode online this afternoon, and you can see it below. Clearly, there is a whole lot more going on here beyond just learning what Snow and Charming did specifically to cost Maleficent to lose her child:

“Hook tells Emma that her fate is at stake in Gold’s plan while Regina leads the villains on a wild goose chase. Henry makes a breakthrough in his search to find the Author, but Mary Margaret and David need a moment to reconsider the best course of action. In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, Snow and Charming search for a way to ensure their child will grow-up to be a hero. When a travelling peddler directs them to visit a kindly old hermit, Snow and Charming are presented with a choice that could secure their child’s goodness, but at a price that will haunt them for years to come.”

The larger question that is not revealed here is what Emma Swan will do once she figures out that her parents are not exactly so sweet and innocent? Is this what finally sends her down the road to evil? It’s possible.
