‘The Following’ season 3, episode 4 preview: Kevin Bacon talks messed-up carpenter
Tonight, “The Following” is doing something a little bit different on Fox. Rather than just giving you their standard episode that is all about Ryan Hardy and some very bad people, you are getting a double-dose of chaos! There are going to be a pair of episodes that air tonight, which is mostly a move designed to ensure that the entire story is told before the end of May sweeps.
In the video below, you can see at least one component of what is going to be this extremely-creepy TV event: Meet Neil, a villain at the center of tonight’s story who happens to be a very creepy guy. Specifically, he is well known for keeping his victims in some boxes and other things he builds in his carpentry shop. Specifically, Kevin Bacon and Shawn Ashmore tease that he is one of the creepiest people we’ve met on the show so far. He may not necessarily be the goriest, but the implications of some of what he does are pretty grotesque in their own way.
One of the luxuries that comes with being on this show, if there are some luxuries out there, are that you get a real opportunity here to see a wide array of villains. This means that the show gets to experiment a little with some of the people that they bring to our TV screens. That’s not exactly good news for Ryan Hardy, but it is very good news for those who love this sort of creep-tastic stuff.
At the end of the two hours, we’ll be sharing some more news on the rest of the season. Stay tuned!
