ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Will Emily VanCamp publicly become Amanda Clarke?

Revenge -

At the end of “Revenge” last night, we saw a promo that definitely teased a big reveal: Emily Thorne deciding that she no longer wants to allow Victoria Grayson to have the upper hand over her. What’s one way to ensure that this doesn’t happen? It is ultimately as simple as ensuring that you beat people to the punch.

Therefore, it looks like Emily VanCamp’s character is finally going to reveal that she is Amanda Clarke, and let the ramifications of that happen as they may. This could lead into the events of “Exposure,” the 19th episode of the season set to air on Sunday, April 12. This makes it seem as though there will be no new episode on the 5th of April, which may be a way to take some time off for Easter Sunday.

We know that there are some who may be confused by the episode orders here, given that “Burn” was written as the 19th episode in production-speak. Our belief is that “Exposure” will be the “extra” episode that has been ordered, which is in part a clip show. There’s no confirmation on that, though; all we have is the short synopsis below courtesy of ABC:

“Emily faces a promising future as Amanda Clarke until Victoria uncovers devastating new secrets from her past.”

Ultimately, the most important thing to know about the trajectory this season is that we’re being set up to go back to the show’s origins in a way, which are the battles between Emily and Victoria. The car accident last night changed everything when it comes to Margaux.
