‘Outlander’ spoilers: Secrets abound for Jamie and Claire

The return of “Outlander” is now closer than ever! While you may still be waiting for at least a couple more weeks to see what happens next in Scotland, it does at least feel significantly better knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel of waiting. Not only that, but we’re starting to get pumped up here thanks mostly to some of the coverage that we’re already plotting out for the show’s return to Starz (or Showcase, if you’re watching in Canada). Things are going to be crazy!

Obviously, there is one thing that you should assume right now about the remaining eight episodes of season 1: Some of the “passion” (that’s what we will call it) between Jamie and Claire will continue following some of the steamy scenes that we saw during the first half of the season. Of course, there will also be plenty of conflict … and also secrets. How can you forget about those? According to Entertainment Weekly, multiple secrets are set to be revealed for both of these characters, which is rather refreshing for those of you who thought that just Claire would have the skeletons in her closet. Granted, hers are probably the more complicated of the two, but that happens when you travel through time!

By the end of this season, we will hopefully have a better understanding of the long-term game between these two in the past. As for where we started in the present, be prepared to wait a while for some further answers when it comes to that. Frank Randall will return, but not until season 2.

Ultimately, what we are trying to say here is simple: Nothing is necessarily sound for these characters. This should be a fun story to watch unfold.
