Is ‘Criminal Minds’ season 10, episode 18 new tonight on CBS?
If there is one word to describe the current “Criminal Minds” airing structure on CBS, it would almost definitely be “erratic.” After all, how else do you describe what the series has going on at present? There was a new episode airing last week, but there is no new episode airing tonight. Instead, the network is opting for a two-hour “Survivor” event to get that show a little bit further along in its season. However, there will be an episode airing again on Wednesday, March 25 entitled “Rock Creek Park.”
Ultimately, what we can do here is give you more or less the schedule for the rest of the season. After “Rock Creek Park” airs, you’re going to have another week of repeats, and then starting with the backdoor pilot “Beyond Borders” on April 8 (read more about that here), the show will have new installments every Wednesday until the end of the season. Right now, it appears as though the finale date will be Wednesday, May 13. The 20th will most likely be used for the three-hour “Survivor” finale, so the timing here ultimately seems right.
So what about the show’s future beyond this season? While the network has not confirmed anything officially just yet, we feel like it’s inevitable that there will be a season 11 of the show. The programs right now in jeopardy are more “Battle Creek,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “The Amazing Race,” “Stalker,” “Elementary,” and maybe to an extent “The Good Wife.” All of these shows are draw ratings below a 1.5 fairly often in the 18-49 demographic, and “Criminal Minds” has never even come that close to that rating once.
There are still many important stories coming later in the season, so be sure to stay tuned for some of the latest on them and much more!
