‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: Series seemingly planning for season 11
While a season 11 of “Bones” may not necessarily be official at this very moment, every indication right now seems to be suggesting that this is precisely what the folks working behind the scenes of the show are hoping for. They’re even planning for it!
Speaking in a conference call with reporters (per BuddyTV), show executive producer Stephen Nathan seemed rather hopeful for the future in saying that “the plan is to see a time jump when we start season 11.” At this very moment, why wouldn’t the show feel this way? Even if there are not new contracts or an official order just yet, “Bones” has a lot going for it. It may not be Fox’s highest-rated show, but it is consistent. It has also proven that it can work on any night, even on Fridays as it did for a short stint. It’s the sort of show that you can always count on for some sort of consistency. For also produces the show, so they can count on some syndication cash to go along with it.
Given that “Bones” has been renewed often in the past before May sweeps, it is our prediction that something similar will happen here. Do we feel like the show is going to run for another decade? Probably not, but it has a couple of good years left in it so long as the producers and the cast want to still make it.
Also, it’d be rather cool to see the series make it to 250 episodes, mostly because milestones are fun and only a select few have ever made it to that point, especially with the same two leads that originally started out on the show.
“Bones” returns to Fox on March 26, but you can click here now to read more about some episodes airing later this season. Also, sign up to piece together some other TV news on everything we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: Fox.)
