‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 18 preview: Herrmann saves the day
Can we officially say now that Herrmann on “Chicago Fire” is even more awesome than we previously thought? After watching the sneak peek below for Tuesday night’s all-new episode, we definitely feel that way.
There is nothing altogether specific to a long-term storyline in this preview, but that does not make it any less awesome to watch. Basically, he manages to save a child from disaster, and then also at the same time calm a father down after showing some rage. Specifically, this father is anxious about letting his kid go off with the paramedics, even though it is their job to take care of him. This scene plays as very true-to-life, given that this man is so concerned about taking care of his kid, he’s really not taking the necessary time in order to realize that he really needs to be taking care of himself at the same time.
Hopefully, this story will be a great one for the character, who sometimes gets put more into the box of comic relief on the show. Also, we hope to see more of some other storylines set up in this past episode, whether it be Brett’s desire to move forward in life, Severide getting in touch with his past, or Dawson realizing that she can only wait for so long before trying to get back out there after her split from Casey.
We’ll have more on this episode come Tuesday night.
