‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20 spoilers: More results shows, no guest judges, rehearsal live streams

Dancing with the Stars -Out with the old, and in with both the new and the old. This seems to be the way that “Dancing with the Stars” is looking at things for their upcoming 20th season. There are many changes coming, and for the most part, they seem to be nice, natural extensions of a show that we’ve already come to appreciate over the years. We also feel the upswing that the show is currently on following a pretty good batch of episodes this past fall.

One big piece of news is that there’s not going to be any more guest judges this season. As executive producer Ron Wade tells TV Guide, much of this is due to Len Goodman actually being present the whole time. He has said that this will be his final season, and if that is true, he is at least going to be around for the entirety of it. Cheers to that!

Another change, per Wade, is that the show may have a chance to do at least a couple of results shows once we get to the end of the season to extend the drama out a little bit further:

“With the audience voting and the judges voting on the dance, and then seeing the result on the next night, I think you need the satisfaction of that influence … So I’m hoping that we’ll get a couple results shows towards theend of the run.”

As for the twists we are more unsure about, there is going to be a live stream available of the rehearsals! You can find out more about that here. We don’t love this; we don’t feel like anyone should have to rehearse with that sort of pressure on them all the time.

We recently made our picks for who will most likely win this season, and you can head over here to read more about that. Also, sign up to score some other news worth dancing about via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: ABC.)
