‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Little Mix’s song for Britney Spears; Stereo Kicks’ tour

Even though “The X Factor” UK may not be on the air at the moment, why not spend a few minutes talking about what some of the show’s former stars are up to?

Stereo Kicks on tour – We’ll start with the eight-piece boy band from this past season, which we are first and foremost pleased to say are still together! For a long time, this is not something we were altogether sure would actually happen. So many formed groups fail to work out, but they are really making a go of it. After all, how else do you explain the fact that they are going on tour soon! Not only that, but they are performing at about every O2 humanly possible. Little Mix helped to pen new Britney Spears song – The ladies from Little Mix are working hard right now on their upcoming third album, but there is something that they’ve realized in the process of doing so: Not every song is actually fit for them!

According to the Sun, a track called “Pretty Girls” proved to be not right for them, but this song may end up on the upcoming Britney Spears record! Here is what a source had to say:

“This is a huge coup for Little Mix. The song is really brilliant but the lyrics just didn’t end up fitting well with their own record. But Britney loved it and wanted to pick it up for her own album as soon as she heard it.”
