Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber: How Jeff Ross, Chris D’Elia, more reacted
The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber filmed last night in Los Angeles, and as tempted as we are give away some of what happened like the rest of the internet, we’re not going to. We’re such big fans of the format, we don’t want to ruin all of the fun by sitting here and analyzing joke by joke everything that each comic did.
Instead, what we do want to do is share some reactions to the night as a whole, which suggest that at least someone, whether it was Bieber, someone on his team, or someone else on the dais, may have been a little bit bent out of shape by what happened over the course of the night. For example, Chris D’Elia, who was billed going into the show as Justin’s “favorite” comedian, made a post suggesting that not everyone on the stage was exactly happy with every joke that he told. Meanwhile, Jeff Ross also made it clear on his own Twitter account that you should watch the roast “if you can take a joke.” This seems more like typical hype from Ross, but it’s still interesting.
Among the people in attendance at the roast last night including the two comics below, Natasha Leggero, Martha Stewart, Hannibal Buress, Pete Davidson, Snoop Dogg, Shaquille O’Neal, and Ludacris are all in attendance with their take on things.
This roast will air a little bit later this month, and we anticipate some solid ratings. While there are plenty of people who like Bieber even still, it may be those who dislike him who ultimately make up the majority of the show’s viewership.
We’ll have more on the roast as it gets closer to airing, but if you want to sign up to get some other TV updates from us at CarterMatt, head over to the link here. (Photo: Comedy Central.)
