‘The Fosters’ season 2 spoilers: Hayden Byerly on huge Jude storyline

Back when the winter portion of “The Fosters” season 2 first started up, it really felt like the majority of the story was really geared towards what Callie was going through and not many others. It’s with that in mind that we are rather pleased to see things changing, and for the focus to be on a pretty fascinating storyline when it comes to Jude. We’ve seen him kiss Connor already, and this could set the stage for some very big things to come as we get a little bit further and further into the season.

How is Jude going to react to this moving forward? It doesn’t sound like is specifically locking himself into being with Connor, at least based on what Hayden Byerly had to say to TVLine:

“Jude’s going to continue exploring what he likes … What is his type of guy that he likes? He’s going to continue to become more comfortable with how he is and who he is. I don’t know if we’ll see a lot of Jude being in necessarily relationships, but he’ll definitely be looking for what he likes.”

Ultimately, this is a story that is going to take a long time to play out, and it’s going to be hard times for Jude. While the climate towards sexuality is probably better now than it was five or ten years ago, it’s still not always easy.
