‘The Musketeers’ season 2 finale spoilers: The fight to save France
The BBC is proving itself at the moment to be rather tricky when it comes to the schedule for “The Musketeers.” They opted to not air a new episode of the show this past Friday, and this is the second time we’ve had a repeat jammed in the middle of the season. Yes, we know that there are sporting events and everything else that cause the show to be preempted from time to time, but still.
So while you wait for the penultimate episode of the show to air on Friday, why not see some of the first details from the finale? We are gearing up to what may be the final showdown between d’Artagnan, his famed group, and Rochefort. Basically, you have to anticipate chaos here from start to finish, and there is no hope that the Musketeers are going to be able to save France at all (at least provided that the show wants to have some sort of alternate-universe creative flexibility.)
Take a look right now at the official BBC synopsis below:
“While Porthos seeks to lure the Spanish spy-master to Paris to prove Rochefort’s betrayal to the King, Athos and d’Artagnan must save Constance from certain death. But will they be able to protect Aramis and the Queen before Rochefort gets to them? The fate of France and their closest comrades lies in the Musketeers’ hands.”
We’ll have more on the finale coming up, after the penultimate episode airs on ITV.
