‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Stephen Amell, John Barrowman tease stories at PaleyFest

Arrow -Today, the cast and (some of the) producers of “Arrow” gathered in Los Angeles for PaleyFest, and what we ended up having was a rousing discussion of a variety of fun topics. There are still many episodes left in season 3, and as executive producer Andrew Kreisberg put it, we are getting prepared to see a very different world at the end of season 3 than the world that we have right now.

Is Oliver going to even consider the offer made by Ra’s al Ghul? Anything is possible. Stephen Amell hinted that all of the work that he has done over the past two and a half years in Starling City may at least make this sort of idea enticing to him. That does not exactly mean that he would want to take on the responsibilities for sure, but it is something that he would at least consider.

On the romantic front, Amell teased that at the moment, Felicity is the only real romantic possibility … but the problem with this at the moment is that she’s already taken. Clearly, the Ray Palmer story is far from over.

As for some other assorted fun from the event…

1. John Barrowman said that he’d love Malcolm to be a love interest for Felicity’s mom, just in case anyone is wondering. He also said that Merlyn really does care for Thea.

2. Expect to see a whole lot of Roy and Thea through the rest of the season, regardless of whether or not they are together.

3. Expect a battle of the hackers when Felicity faces off against the Bug-Eyed Bandit (Emily Kinney) on “The Flash” later this season.

4. Basically, all of the women love playing the characters that they are now on the show.

We’re not going to say that this was the most eventful panel ever, mostly because it wasn’t heavy at all on major scoop. However, if you were watching along just for fun, you probably enjoyed the rapport that the cast had with one another.
