‘The Voice UK’ results: Did Clark Carmody, Joe Woolford, Liss Jones, Karis Thomas make Rita’s team?

Voice -Tonight on the BBC, “The Voice UK” is holding its knockout rounds … or at least the beginning of them. They are breaking these up into two separate days, and we are breaking these articles up into one for each team. Therefore, we’ll have two today, and then two tomorrow as we finish this all up!

We’re starting things off today with Rita Ora, who made a few surprising decisions on the way of narrowing her team down to three. For example, saying goodbye to Liss Jones and Hannah Wildes were not things that we were prepared to do.

Clark Carmody – For some reason, we expected this one for a long time. He’s got a personality that meshes well with her, and the voting public is going to like him. For a certain extent, you need to be strategic with that in mind as a coach.

Joe Woolford – We’re a little mixed on this one right now. He’s a great-looking guy and a solid singer, but we feel like there is still more that he can give. Hopefully, working with Rita longer is going to give us a chance to see more of his creativity as an artist blossom.

Karis Thomas – We’re not shocked by this one at all. Karis is one of those few artists the show really needs to have do well. She’s got real pop-star potential, and she even has at least a few things in common with Rita. She still has room to grow, but we have a good bit of confidence in her abilities to improve.

Next week, we’ll get a chance to see how these three fare in a live environment.
