‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: First photo of Mark Harmon’s Gibbs in ‘Patience’

NCIS -Given that the upcoming March 31 episode of “NCIS” is about a cold case that is four decades in the making, isn’t it appropriate that this story carries with it the title of “Patience”? We like to think so, and we have the first photo right now of what to expect from a certain Agent Gibbs.

This photo is hardly the most revealing in the world, mostly because it features Mark Harmon’s character seemingly doing a standard interrogation. He and DiNozzo are taking the lead on this case, which resurfaces following the murder of a petty officer. This may be a particularly personal project for Gibbs at this point, given that he has been assigned to work on this case for a solid two years straight.

So how is everyone else in the office going to feel about the case? Supportive as always, but as the synopsis over here gives away, McGee is feeling a little bit of jealousy that he was not briefed ahead of time about the case.

On the surface, this still feels to be very much a standard episode of the show, at least in that there is a case, and the good guys do what they can to solve it. There’s nothing in the synopsis or the photos we have seen that indicate that there is a deeper or potentially-darker storyline brimming somewhere underneath the surface. We’ll just have to see what happens when this episode airs.

Of course, we are going to have so much more news on this episode prior to it airing. Be on the looking for some of that right away!
