‘The Flash’ spoilers: On Barry Allen, Iris West, and possible feelings

Is Iris West finally going to reveal a certain something about Barry Allen and her feelings for him? While that is not confirmed to be a major storyline just yet on “The Flash,” this is at least something that you should be very much watching out for come the show’s return Tuesday night.

According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, this upcoming episode “Out of Time” is actually going to have a meaning pertaining to Grant Gustin and Candice Patton’s characters. Specifically, while the Weather Wizard is wrecking havoc and gunning after Iris’ father Joe, she and Barry could be caught in a tough position. In turn, this has the two potentially realizing a few more things in regards to their feelings. This is hardly proof that there is a hookup of any sorts coming, but you have to still consider it a possibility for the near future.

If there is one thing that we do still worry about in regards to these two, it is timing. For example, there’s no real need to rush things along if they end up becoming endgame. This is only the first season, and based on recent ratings, there are likely many more to come. Therefore, why not take some time to let them evolve more and more? This could just be us reading too much into a revelation of possible feelings; just because they start to evaluate themselves more after a dangerous situation does not mean that anything will really change. They may just be acting and feeling in the moment.
