‘Shark Tank’ preview: Naja, Echo Valley Meats (again), Aqua Vault, Emazing Lights, a Pipcorn update

Shark Tank CastFriday night, “Shark Tank” returns with yet another new episode, and we are ready yet again to give you a taste of what to expect. Fittingly, there is at least a food product tonight that you may want to taste, provided that you are a meat-eater and you were impressed by them the first time. (We admit, we’re not huge fans of the repeat visitor to the tank. Typically not much has changed, and you would rather see someone new from the standpoint of entertainment. Maybe Echo Valley Meats will be the exception to the role.

As per usual with these articles, let’s begin by sharing the synopsis for this episode, which is actually a little bit shorter than the ones we’ve come to expect given that not all products are even mentioned. (Don’t worry; we’ve still got them for you below.)

“A cattleman from Peoria, IL gets a second chance to show the Sharks what he’s learned about his gourmet meat business since his Season 4 visit to the Tank; and a lawyer/MBA graduate from San Francisco, CA pitches a lingerie line that is sewn by women in need. Also, an update on Jeff & Jennifer Martin from New York, NY and their irresistible snack, Pipcorn, in which Barbara Corcoran invested in during Season 6.”

Echo Valley Meats – You have seen this one before. What’s interesting here is that this may be one of the first businesses to get an update segment, only to then appear in the tank again later. We still like his product, given that we do love gourmet meats as much as the next guy. There’s still not a whole lot that really stands out about this brand versus others, but there is clearly money to be made here.

Aqua Vault – A way to keep your valuable safe when you are out enjoying time on the beach, at the pool, or in other precarious places. It solves a problem, but how big of a problem is it? We’ve always been convinced that the best thing to do in such situations is just to keep your belongings inside, that way you never run into the problem.

Naja – The sharks are going to love this one. Not everyone may be in the lingerie business, but it is underwear designed in part to be fun and cheeky, and to give women something different to wear. It also has a pay-it-forward message, as the business employs women in need. This business reminds us a lot of Bombas, who have done great things in the sock industry since the show.

Emazing Lights – If you want to go to a raze and/or Burning Man, this is probably right up your alley. It’s a variety of cool products perfect for party-goers everywhere. We’re not sure how big the market here is, though, and it may be too niche of a product for the tank.
