‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 18 preview: When will Jonny Lee Miller, cast return?

Elementary -Fans of “Elementary” have been almost rather spoiled lately with the number of new episodes. Due to the show premiering after Thursday Night Football, there has been a shot here to see many more episodes airing consecutively than we would probably have the chance to see otherwise.

Unfortunately, most good things when it comes to TV scheduling have to come to an end eventually, and what we are seeing right now is an end born mostly out of one thing: The NCAA tournament. Due to there being so much basketball on CBS over the next few weeks, you’re not going to be seeing Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu, or the rest of the cast around for a little while. Our current indication is that the show will return with new episodes on Thursday, April 2, and there will be many more installments that air during the month.

As for what will be coming up in these installments, all we really have is hope. We know for example that this show is mostly procedural, but we’d like to see something more akin to a trilogy to close off the season. Give us a more complicated case for Holmes and Watson to solve, or bring back some other important people. We know Natalie Dormer is busy, but how about Moriarty? Or, how about another Kitty appearance since she’s been gold for a while? We ended up warming up to her over time.

Stay tuned, as we will have further updates as we approach the return.
