‘American Idol XIV’ spoilers: Potential top 10 theme for Tyanna Jones, Clark Beckham is…

American Idol -Before you wrap up tonight’s “American Idol XIV” performance show, why not take a look even further into the future? The show is moving to Thursday next week due to the “Empire” finale (it’s the last Thursday show of the season), and we have a sense of what the theme for the remaining ten contestants is going to be: Songs from the movies.

This news was first confirmed by TVLine, and we cannot exactly say we are that thrilled to hear about it. This seems to be one of those themes that the show tends to have almost every season. We will hopefully at least get a variety of different songs, and by all measures of the imagination, we hope nobody chooses “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston. It’s from “The Bodyguard,” so the possibility is there for it to come belting out.

Maybe Tyanna Jones and Clark Beckham will be there to perform them? We put their names in the title for this article, hoping that they will be there. We suppose that in the end, though, there are really no guarantees given that there is tonight’s new episode featuring an elimination, and then one other contestant will be sent home next week.

After this episode, the show will settle back in to its more permanent timeslot, which is Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The show will run two hours, and will combine performances and results every time. We’ll have some further scoop every step of the way.
