‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Who does Ra’s al Ghul kidnap during ‘Public Enemy’?
For those of you wondering whether or not Ra’s al Ghul will be spending a whole lot of time hiding in the shadows at the end of “Arrow” this season, don’t count on it. It’s starting to appear more and more like he will be rising to the forefront. This is the sort of thing that happens when you decide to make the sort of crazy offer that he did to Oliver Queen.
The CW this week released some of the first details about “Public Enemy,” the 18th episode of this season airing on April 1. It seems that Ra’s is going to be taking to kidnapping for some sort of unknown reason, and to go along with that, we’re also going to be seeing the return of Donna Smoak to the scene for a very interesting reason. Let’s just say that it is starting to seem like Felicity and Ray are starting to get serious:
“During an attack on the mayor’s office, Ray (Brandon Routh) is critically injured. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is pleasantly surprised when her mother, Donna Smoak (guest star Charlotte Ross), shows up at the hospital to offer her support. With the SCPD out in full force looking for the assailant, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his team work hard to stay one step ahead of the police to find the man responsible. However, things come to a head when Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) kidnaps Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne).”
Ultimately, this seems like the sort of thing that Ray is going to have to learn about fighting crime: Wearing an awesome suit will not protect your forever.
Also, we’re worried about Captain Lance. Parents are always the first to go on almost every CW series.
