‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Are any Kalinda exit theories true?

It’s not a secret that Archie Panjabi is leaving “The Good Wife” after this coming season. One of the larger questions here at the moment is really a matter of whether or not there is any way to predict just what this exit will be like.

Creators Michelle and Robert King have both made it clear at a certain point that they are not planning to give Kalinda the same sort of exit that they gave to Will Gardner. They’ve also said that they have to approach this particular departure in a very different way, given that this is something that is actually public knowledge rather than something that happened as a surprise. Nobody really knew that Josh Charles would be leaving right in the middle of the season.

The Kings are being very careful even in preparing this exit for the show; as a matter of fact, they are avoiding every possible theory if at all possible, just to ensure that they come up with something that is completely their own. Just look at what Robert had to say in a new interview with E! News:

“We didn’t want to be that influenced by. We had a goal at the beginning of the year and we’re at least sticking with that goal … I have a feeling some will be right.”

Hopefully, we are going to have by the end of this season something that gives the character closure. That’s what we really care about most. It would be great if she was to come back in the future, but you cannot really count on that.
