‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5, episode 17 preview: First look at ‘Bite Out of Crime’
Next week, “Rizzoli & Isles” is airing an episode that looks to be a big one. “Bite Out of Crime” will be the second-to-last of the season, which is mostly just surprising when it comes to just how short this season feels! Ultimately, we have to say that it really does not feel like something that has been on for as long as it has been.
So far, TNT really has not released too much about the hour, save for a very brief synopsis that you can take a look at below:
“The squad works overtime hunting down a serial killer sniper. Maura befriends a witness to the crime, who happens to suffer from a mental condition that has him believing he is a wolf.”
It seems to be a good case, and the one thing we really like about the synopsis is the word “befriend.” This to us is an almost-direct implication that Maura will be treating this mental condition with the utmost care. That is something that we always worry about anytime you see it presented on crime shows … but we’re never really so worried about it here. This show has proven itself time and time again now to be pretty adept when it comes to handling challenging issues. Hopefully, they will only continue to do so moving forward.
We should have even more updates related to the series prior to the next episode, so come back soon for more!
