NBC’s ‘The Voice’ review: Hannah Kirby, Caitlin Caporale, Vance Smith, Paul Pfan close blind auditions

The Voice -Tonight, “The Voice” is doing something a little bit different. Namely, they are mixing up the Blind Auditions and the Battle Rounds into one two-your episode that was stuffed full of content. We’re going to break this article up, as well! The first part of this is focused all about the rest of the auditions. From there, we’ll transition into more talk on the battles themselves.

Nathan Hermida – Was there some overpraising going on during this performance? We personally believe it from Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera. The kid was a pretty good singer, but was he a great one? We’re not so sure about that. Maybe Adam Levine will be able to bring more and more out of him as time progresses.

Paul Pfau – Yep, if he hadn’t said his name, we would have zero clue how to pronounce that name. Nice song choice with “Fly Me to the Moon.” We enjoyed what he brought to the song, and it was pretty hilarious to see Adam not be able to turn for him, given that he was a huge Maroon 5 fan. He still got a good coach in Pharrell.

Vance Smith – Christina Aguilera’s last team member may be one of her better ones. He’s got a cool tone, but to go along with that, he also oozes charisma. This will be more and more important as time progresses in the competition, and she can encourage him to build up his confidence even more than he has already.

Caitlin Caporale – We have our final member of Team Pharrell! Ironically, this was more or less her joining team Christina, since she got up and sang a duet with her at the end of her audition. Serious wish fulfillment for her here.

Hannah Kirby – It was clear from the moment we saw her introduction that she was the last member of Blake Shelton’s team, adn he really got something great with her. Plenty of untapped potential lies within that raspy voice.
