Is ‘Gotham’ episode 19 new tonight on Fox?

Love “Gotham“? Then let’s just hope that you are okay with waiting for a little while for the series to return to Fox with new episodes. There is no new episode on the network tonight. Meanwhile, there is no new episode airing the week after that, or even the week after that. The reality here is that you are going to be waiting for a very long time to see something more from the show. Specifically, we are talking about Monday, April 13. From here, odds are that you could be getting new episodes for much of the remainder of this season.

The biggest reason for this lengthy delay is rather simple: The show really front-loaded the season with new episodes. It’s a common practice among first-year shows to ensure that they have you hooked; if they don’t, you will not remember to come back after several repeats in a row. Even now, “Gotham” runs the risk of losing people to either “The Voice” or “Dancing with the Stars,” not that we think that these shows have the same exact audience.

At the moment, this new episode of “Gotham” is so far into the future that we know almost nothing about it. Fox has not revealed the episode’s name yet, nor is there a press release out there giving us some of the details. You may be have something like that within a couple of weeks.

For now, the biggest thing to remember is what Jada Pinkett Smith said at the end of last week: She is leaving the show after this season. Therefore, something’s going to happen to either cause Fish Mooney to sleep with the fishes, or depart Gotham as a whole.
