ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 16 preview: Emily VanCamp, cast take on “Retaliation’
Tonight, “Revenge” returned with an epic episode stuffed full of surprises. There were inheritance battles, parties, and Margaux out to destroy Emily Thorne once and for all. Also, we wondered again how these people all seem to have unlimited money.
What’s interesting about next week’s new episode “Retaliation” is first and foremost its title. How many times have the writers just been able to come up with a synonym for “Revenge,” and put that in the title? Complaints about that aside, this looks to be a pretty fantastic hour of TV. Just take a look at the attached synopsis:
“Determined to flaunt her new fortune in Victoria’s face, Natalie throws a giant Fourth of July bash and invites David to be her date. Meanwhile, Margaux steps up her plans to take down anyone who stands in her way.”
One of the other big stories to prepare for in this episode is going to be seeing how Jack suddenly reacts now to the botched confession of love. If Emily VanCamp’s character doesn’t feel the same way about her that she does about him, is there going to be a problem for the two parties? You have to at least assume this will be a possibility.
Then again, there are many of these said possibilities as a whole throughout the next episode, including David Clarke hopefully finding a new use as he and Natalie grow closer. It’s still strange to us that we enjoy Louise more than a man who has been a part of the show since the start.

Why should we comment abc is not doing what so many of us want to see happen. Instead Jack is rejected once again. I am ready to give up on this show. The majority of viewers want Marqaux and Ben gone. Not Nolan or Jack. We want Jack and Emily together . It is the only thing we are requesting. ABC refuses to do this. So why do they want our opinions.
