‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 14 preview: Julianna Margulies shines in ‘Mind’s Eye’ sneak peeks

The Good Wife -On “The Good Wife” Sunday night, things will be starting off with Alicia Florrick in a bad way … but it is not due to political figures or court cases. Instead, she seems to be suffering from a case of laryngitis. This will impact almost everything as we are only a week away from the election, and she has a ton on her plate. The sneak peeks below are proof of that, and CBS was kind enough to actually release three of these from the episode. Let’s do our part to break ’em all down.

1. Alicia’s heart-to-heart with Elfman – This is the strategy session, as she prepares to give a major interview with a major conservative publication. She needs to be prepared to answer any and all questions, from abortion to the state of her marriage with Peter. Important for context reasons, but not for much else.

2. Fantasy city – You can go ahead and ignore most of the conversation here if you want, and focus more on what is going on between Alicia, Finn, and Elfman here. Sure, these are just fantasies, but it gives you a great sense as to how even she doesn’t know where her heart lies right now. After all, she’s also still married! This is a microcosm of the week’s premise, which is a story told entirely through the eyes of Julianna Margulies’ character.

3. Is Louis Canning in poor health? – He basically wants you to think that he always is, and there isn’t much else to go on here, other than that this entire discussion may be a very different product of Alicia’s imagination. We can see an issue with this episode being trying to differentiate between fiction and reality.
